Oben Electric is hiring an Automotive Designer to join its Bengaluru-based team focused on shaping the future of electric mobility in India. The role involves developing innovative transportation and mobility concepts through sketching, visualization, and 3D development while collaborating closely with engineering and cross-functional teams.
Designers will contribute to user-centered EV experiences, production-feasible vehicle concepts, and future-focused mobility solutions within a rapidly growing electric vehicle ecosystem.
What They’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Transportation Design, Automotive Design, Industrial Design, or related fields
• Strong sketching, visualization, and 3D modeling skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Alias, Rhino, Blender, CATIA, or similar software
• Understanding of vehicle design, ergonomics, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Passion for EV mobility and future transportation innovation
• Ability to develop concepts from ideation to presentation level
