McLaren Automotive is looking for a Head of Advanced Exterior Design to lead the development of next-generation exterior design projects within its UK design division. What They’re Looking For
• Extensive experience in automotive exterior design within premium, luxury, or performance automotive brands
• Strong understanding of vehicle packaging, surfacing, proportions, and production feasibility
• Proven experience leading advanced design or concept vehicle programs
• Strong design leadership and strategic thinking abilities
• Excellent sketching, presentation, and communication skills
• Experience collaborating with engineering, aerodynamics, and product strategy teams
• Ability to guide future vehicle architecture through design-led innovation
• Deep awareness of automotive design trends, luxury market expectations, and future mobility directions
• Leadership experience within advanced design studios or automotive design environments
