ABout Job Description
An opportunity for an Industrial Designer to work across the full spectrum of product development from concept sketching to production-ready CAD models. The role blends creative design thinking with engineering execution, focusing on form, function, materials, and manufacturability.
You will collaborate with R&D and project teams, contribute to trend research and material exploration, and support prototype development and testing, ensuring designs are both innovative and production-feasible.
Key Responsibilities
Develop 2D concepts, sketches, and illustrations for new and existing products
Create 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings using SolidWorks and Rhino
Work on reverse engineering workflows using scan data
Research materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes
Support prototype development, testing, and validation
Design specialized components like upholstery patterns and product detailing
Collaborate closely with Project Managers and R&D teams
Maintain design documentation and production templates
Required Skills
Proficiency in SolidWorks, Rhino, and 3D surface modeling
Strong understanding of parametric modeling and production drawings
Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and product detailing
Ability to balance aesthetics with engineering constraints
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Portfolio demonstrating design + CAD capability
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or related field
0–5 years of experience in product design or design engineering
