About Job Description
Mahindra & Mahindra is looking for a Lead CAS Modeller to drive the development of high-quality 3D surfaces across vehicle exteriors and interiors. This role focuses on transforming design intent into production-feasible digital models, while leading convergence between design, engineering, and quality teams.
You will play a critical role in full vehicle development cycles, ensuring Class-A surface precision, supporting physical modeling, and maintaining alignment with brand DNA and design standards.
Key Highlights
Lead CAS modeling and surfacing development across projects
Translate sketches into engineering-ready Class-A surfaces
Drive design–engineering convergence and quality validation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including studio, clay, and program management
Benchmark competitors to elevate design quality and standards
Profile Snapshot
8–12+ years in automotive surfacing (CAS/Class-A)
Strong expertise in Autodesk Alias, NURBS/Bezier, Sub-D modeling
Experience across multiple full-cycle vehicle programs
Background in Transportation / Industrial / Product Design or Mechanical Engineering
