Renault Group is hiring a Lead Digital Modeler (Lead Modeleur Numérique) to join its advanced automotive design team in France. The role focuses on translating design intent into high-quality 3D digital models while ensuring technical and stylistic convergence across future vehicle programs.

The candidate will collaborate closely with designers, engineers, visualization teams, and digital modeling specialists to develop production-feasible surfaces and volumes from creative phases to final refinement. The position also involves leading modeling teams, contributing to brand design language development, and supporting immersive digital reviews using advanced visualization technologies.


What They’re Looking For


Strong experience in automotive digital modeling / CAS modeling

Advanced expertise in Alias, Sub-D, Blender, VRED, and visualization workflows

Deep understanding of automotive proportions, surfacing, highlights, and volume harmony

Ability to interpret and translate design sketches into production-oriented digital models

Knowledge of AR/VR visualization tools and real-time digital review systems

Understanding of automotive architecture, ergonomics, aerodynamics, and manufacturing constraints

Experience collaborating with design, engineering, and visualization teams

Leadership skills with the ability to coordinate and guide digital modeling teams

Strong presentation and communication abilities

Passion for automotive design, innovation, and future mobility
