Description
Kia India Design Center is hiring a Senior CMF Designer to shape the future of automotive experiences through color, material, and finish innovation. This role focuses on creating culturally grounded yet globally relevant CMF strategies across interior and exterior vehicle programs from concept to production. The designer will work closely with Kia HQ CMF teams in Namyang while developing material libraries, color masters, and finish specifications for next-generation mobility products.
What They’re Looking For
• 7–10 years of CMF experience in automotive, premium consumer products, or fashion/lifestyle industries
• Deep understanding of materiality, color theory, finish development, and sensory experience
• Strong cultural awareness and ability to translate lifestyle behaviors into CMF decisions
• Experience developing CMF strategies from concept through production
• Strong understanding of trends beyond the automotive industry
• Ability to collaborate with global design and engineering teams
• Passion for emotionally driven and future-focused mobility design
